The American Board of Trial Advocates recently held two 7th Amendment Symposiums. During the two programs we hosted close to 130 high school and middle school students at both the state and federal courthouses. Our presenters were Judge Tyrie Boyer, Judge Harvey Schlesinger, Reginald Luster, Wayne Hogan, Jake Schickel, Tad Griffin and David Dunlap. Thanks go out to all our presenters and to Bob Cole and Dan Iracki for their hard work and dedication to this new program. The 7th Amendment Symposium, along with our annual Teachers' Law School program, provides a tremendous opportunity to promote the rights established by our Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The Jacksonville ABOTA chapter continues to lead the way nationally with these type of educational programs for our teachers and students. It was a privilege to serve as President of our chapter in 2015.
